     THOMAS AUSTIN begs respectfully to announce to the Public that he has received instructions from COLONEL CHARLES WYNDHAM, to Sell by Auction, at the White Horse Inn, Rogate, on TUESDAY, the 27th day of February, 1844, subject to such conditions as will be then produced, at one for two o'clock precisely, in Five Lots, (unless previously disposed of by Private Contract of which due Notice will be given,) about 710 TREES of OAK, ASH, and ELM; and 63 large clean grown HOLLY, standing on the ROGATE ESTATE, in the Parish of Rogate in the County of Sussex; near good Roads, and within seven miles  of the Rother Navigation, and five miles from the Town of Petersfield.

Lot 1. Comprises 34 Oak, 32 Elm, and 3 Ash Trees, standing on Pound and Wood Farms, and in Plantation near Rogate Lodge. 

Lot 2. Comprises 97 Oak, 14 Ash, and 3 Elm Trees, standing on Slade and Common Side Farms.

Lot 3. Comprises 160 Oak, 31 Ash, and 3 Elm Trees, standing on Wenham, Durtley Marsh, Carrols and Lower House Farms.

Lot 4. Comprises 264 Oak and 13 Ash Trees, standing on Mizzards Farm, and on the part of Wenham Farm situate on the south side of the River Arun. 

Lot 5. Comprises 63 large clean grown Holly, standing near Rogate Common.
