I would like to send you my email address, but I can't work out how to do it via this message board. We would love to share notes with you, as we have very little information beyond the James Daly Vernon whom you mention. We have a record of a younger James Daly Vernon, born in 1873, grandson of James Daly Vernon (doctor of Tubbercurry) and son of William Thomas Vernon (secretary of Sligo County Council until about 1908). Young James Daly Vernon trained as a solicitor, but died in Australia in 1897, and perhaps you know more about him. However, we can bring you up to date with some of the Vernon's descendants, in the UK and Australia. We know that James Daly Vernon's mother Jane died of cholera in about 1848, and was a widow at the time. We also have a few birth certificates from the Sligo record office. All best, Brenda
