Appeared also personally Mary Gibson widow of the parish of St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey & under oath that she is the natural & lawful Mother of the above named Ann Gibson & is unmarried that she is consenting to the marriage of her said Daughter Ann Gibson with the above named John Ashlin & that she knows of no Guardian of her said Daughter appointed by the will or deed of her late husband deceased the natural & lawful Father of the said Ann Gibson.
