Today 12th September 1913 before me, Official of the Register Office of Amsterdam, appeared Joost de Vos, Merchant, 44 years old, living locally, married to Berthe Suzanne van den Berghe, no profession, living together locally. He produced to me for recording in the record of the Register Office a copy of a judgement by default of the Dutch Consular Tribunal in Teheran of 20th December 1912 declaring that the marriage contracted between Joost de Vos and Berthe van den Berghe on 20th October 1898 at the Chancery of the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Teheran was dissolved by divorce. Together with this was produced a declaration by the recorder of the aforementioned registry dated 8th June last that purported to show that this declared judgement had not been revoked by any legal means. Accordingly the requirements of law are satisfied. |
