Mr. GEORGE SMITH (Successor to the late Mr. T. GODWIN), is favoured with instructions from J. Bonham-Carter, Esq., M.P. to SELL by AUCTION, at the Dolphin Hotel, Petersfield, on Tuesday the 11th of March, 1862, at two o’clock punctually, in lots:—
100 Prime NAVY OAK TIMBER TREES, of large metings and superior quality, with Lop, Top, and Bark;
20 very fine ELM TREES; and
40 large clean ASH TREES.
The Oak Is standing, and the other timber lying upon the Buriton Estate, close to good roads, and within half-a-mile of the Buriton Siding of the Direct Portsmouth Railway.
W. Mariner, the woodman, will shew the lots. Catalogues may be had at the Dolphin Hotel, Petersfield; at the Manor Farm, Buriton; or of the Auctioneer, Winchester.
