PETERSFIELD.

NATIONAL SCHOOL ROOMS.—On Monday and Tuesday evening concerts were given the Hungarian Brothers and their celebrated band, which afforded on each night a rich treat throughout by this high talented vocal and instrumental company. The performers consisted of Herr A. Slapoffski, the celebrated Hungarian violinist; Herr M. Slapoffski, foreign and English vocalist, and Guitarist; F. Johnson, the celebrated performer on the cornet-a-piston; Her Naab, the great performer on the mélophone, and pianist; A Wood, harpist, violinist, and flutist; and F. Harris, the excellent comic nigger singer, and dancer, also performer on the bango, bones, and tambourine. The performances (individually) were of the highest order, and where each did his part so well, it would almost appear invidious to make a selection, but we cannot refrain from remarking the marvellous playing upon the violin by Herr A. Slapoffski; which was of first-rate excellence. If we may form an opinion from the applause evidenced by the audience at the conclusion of almost every piece, and the rapturous encores in several from weII filled houses (particularly on the last night), we may predict that from a second visit from this excellent company the house will be crowded.
