CHURCH PASTORAL AID SOCIETY.—Two eloquent sermons on behalf of this society were preached on Sunday last, by the Rev. G. Despard, and a meeting for the same object was held in the national school-room on Monday evening, at which the Rev. J. M. Sumner presided. The following clergymen addressed the meeting, the rev. chairman, the Rev. C. R. Butler (vicar of Portchester), the deputation (Rev. G. Despard, association sevretary), Rev. T. Floud, and Rev. M. A. Smelt.
