PETERSFIELD.]—THE RIFLE BALL—This ball, for the benefit of the 12th Hants Volunteer Rifle corps, is patronised by all the nobility in the district, and will take place at Messrs. Crafts’ Assembly-room, at the Dolphin Hotel, on Thursday evening next. the 26th instant. Dancing will commence at half-past nine, to a first rate band especially retained. The corps will form a guard of honour from the entree-room to the ball-room. A very large number is expected to be in attendance on the occasion.
