ACCIDENTALLY SUFFOCATED.—On Saturday last an inquest was held at the Petersfield Union Workhouse, before C. B. Longcroft, esq. on the body of Walter Turner, aged three months. From the examination of several witnesses it appeared the mother, Mary Ann Turner, was confined about three months ago with twins, and on Thursday night last the above named was suffocated, but there was no evidence to show how. Verdict accordingly.
