PORTSMOUTH RAILWAY.

     NOTICE is Hereby Given,—That a MEETING of the parties entitled to commonable or other rights, over or in the undermentioned Lands, is hereby convened to be held at the EAGLE INN, in the Parish of Liss, in the County of Southampton, on Tuesday, the FIRST DAY OF JULY, one thousand eight hundred and fifty six, at One o’Clock in the Afternoon, precisely, for the purpose of their appointing a Committee, to treat with the Portsmouth Railway Company, for the Compensation to be paid by the Company, for the extinction of such Commonable or other rights over or in such Land.

     The Lands to which this Notice refers, are Twenty-three Acres, Two Roods, and Thirty-three Perches, of Waste or Common Land, forming part of the Waste of the Manor of Liss, situate in the said Parish of Liss, upon the Line within the limits of deviation defined upon the Plans referred to in ‟the Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” and ‟the Portsmouth Railway Amendment Act, 1855,” respectively ; the portion of such Land upon the Line or within the limits of deviation defined upon the Plans referred to in the said Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853, being numbered 14, 37, 54, 55, 56, 65, 68, 68 A, 68 B, and 92, in the said Parish, and the portion of such Land upon the Line or within the limits of deviation defined upon the Plans referred to in the said ‟Portsmouth Railway Amendment Act, 1855,” being numbered 3, 4, and 6, in the said Parish, such Twenty-three Acres, Two Roods, and Thirty-three Perches of Land, being required for the construction thereon of the Portsmouth Railway, and the Works connected therewith.

     This Notice is given by the Portsmouth Railway Company, in pursuance of the provisions of the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” the ‟Portsmouth Railway Amendment Act, 1855,” and the Acts incorporated therewith.

     The lands to which this Notice refers are One Rood and 38 Perches of waste or common land, situate in the Tything of Sheet, in the said Parish of Petersfield, upon the line or within the limits of deviation defined upon the plans referred to in the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” of which lands eight perches adjoin a certain road which is numbered in the book of reference to such plans 16 in the said Tything of Sheet, 12 Perches adjoin a certain Road which is numbered in the said Book of Reference, 24 in the said Tything of Sheet, and One Rood or 18 Perches adjoin a certain Road which is numbered in the said Book of Reference 28, in the said Tything of Sheet, such One Rood and 38 Perches of Land being required for the construction or thereon of the Portsmouth Railway and the works connected therewith.

     This Notice is given by the Portsmouth Railway Company, in pursuance of the provisions of the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” and the Acts incorporated therewith.

     The lands to which this Notice refers are Two Acres and Twenty Perches of waste or common land situate in the Parish of Buriton, in the said County of Southampton, upon the line or within the limits of deviation defined upon the Plans referred to in the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” and are numbered in the Book of Reference to such Plans 90 in the said Parish of Buriton. Such Two Acres and Twenty Perches of land being required for the construction thereon of the Portsmouth Railway and the works connected therewith.

     This Notice is given by the Portsmouth Railway Company in pursuance of the provisions of the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act 1853,” and the Acts incorporated therewith.

     The lands to which this Notice refers are Two Acres Three Roods and Four Perches of waste or Common land situate in the Parish of Buriton, in the County of Southampton, of which lands Two Acres Two Roods and Eighteen Perches are upon the line or within the limits of deviation defined upon the Plans referred to in the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” and are numbered in the Book of Reference to such Plans 5, 6, 10, and 106, in the said Parish of Buriton; and Twenty-six Perches are upon the line or within the limits of deviation defined upon the Plan referred to in the ‟Portsmouth Railway Amendment Act, 1854,” of which said Twenty-six Perches, Eight Perches adjoin a certain road which is numbered in the Book of Reference to such last mentioned Plans 21 in the said Parish; and Eighteen Perches adjoin another road which is numbered in the said last mentioned Book of Reference 59 in the said Parish. Such Two Acres Three Reeds and Four Perches of land being required for the construction thereon of the Portsmouth Railway and the Works connected therewith.

     This Notice is given by the Portsmouth Railway Company, in pursuance of the provisions of the ‟Portsmouth Railway Act, 1853,” the ‟Portsmouth Railway Amendment Act, 1854,” and the Acts incorporated therewith.
