PETERSFIELD.

On Thursday last, an accident happened to James Fielder, in employ Mr. Crafts at the Red Lion brewery, which might have been of a serious nature. It appears the unfortunate man was engaged in removing some grains through a trap door to the floor beneath, when his foot slipped and he fell a distance of about seven feet, with his left arm and shoulder into a tub of nearly boiling water. Mr. Gray, assistant to Messrs. Whicher and Cross, surgeons, was directly in attendance, and he was at once removed to his home, and we are glad to add is going on favourably.
