ACCIDENT—A few days since, as Mr. James Port, the landlord of the Swan Inn, in this town, was trying a horse which he had lately purchased, the animal commenced kicking in a most furious manner, the front of the cart was driven in, and Mr. Port received a violent kick on the leg just above the ancle, whereby the bone was badly fractured. Mr. Peskett, surgeon, was sent for, and we hear that under his skilful treatment the patient is steadily improving.

ACCIDENT.—As Mr. James Port, the well-known horse dealer, and landlord of the ‟Swan Inn,” was driving a horse (which he had purchased for another, under a warrant, for quietness) in a light cart, he met with a severe accident. It appears that he had nor proceeded more than 100 yards when the vicious animal set to kicking violently, smashing the front of the cart, and upon Mr. Port jumping out he received a kick which broke the small bone of his right leg.
