An accident occurred here on Tuesday last to a man named Pierce. He was driving a cart containing two pigs, when the bridle broke, and the horse, a very spirited creature, bolted, and threw the man from the cart, inflicting several severe cuts on his face, and contusions in different parts of his body. He, however, quickly received medical assistance, and is now doing well.
