ACCIDENT.—On Wednesday last, a serious accident occurred in the town to a man named Parfoot, of Steep, who had charge of a horse, and having dropped his stick, was in the act of stooping to pick it up when the horse struck him with one of his fore feet a violent blow on the face, breaking his nose and lacerating his face in a frightful manner.
