PETERSFIELD.
ACCIDENT.—On Tuesday last, Sir William Knighton, Bart., was riding on horseback from his residence to Petersfield, to attend the bench of magistrates, his horse unfortunately fell with him, within a short distance of the town. We understand the worthy baronet was bruised about the shoulder and knee, and sprained his thumb. The horse was much cut about the head. We are pleased to say that nothing more serious happened.
