FATAL ACCIDENT,—As George Spencer, aged 20 years, cowman to Charles Louch, Esq., of Buriton, was filling the water-barrel at the pond, the horse became frightened from some fault as to the blinkers, and suddenly started off, when poor Spence fell under the wheel, which passed over his breast. He was taken, by order of Mr. Louch, to the Manor House, where every kindness and attention was shown him, till death put a period to his sufferings, on Wednesday morning last. The horse continued his mad career with the almost empty water-barrel, along the lanes from Buriton to the Petersfield and Portsmouth turnpike road, towards Petersfield, but, was luckily stopped in the causeway without further mischief.
