IN soliciting the favour of your perusal of the annexed Price Current, we beg to inform you, that after many years’ experience and careful selection, we have succeeded in accumulating a large Stock of the very choicest Old Matured WINES and SPIRITS, which, for price and quality, will bear comparison with those of any House in the Trade; and we can with confidence recommend them to your notice.
Our extensive assortment of Old PORT WINES is selected from the finest Vintages, bottled with the greatest care, and fully calculated to sustain and increase the reputation which we trust we already enjoy.
We have a variety of fine mellow Old SHERRIES, ‟Pale,” ‟Golden,” and ‟Brown,” of the most esteemed Shippers, as also of Old COGNAC BRANDY of the highest brands—Martell’s, Henessy’s, &c.
In consequence of the demand which has lately arisen for the SOUTH AFRICAN WINES, we have been induced to add them to our usual Stock, and have selected a few Pipes of the very best quality. We find them (both White and Red) to be pure, good bodied, and well flavoured, and feel quite justified in recommending them either as a Luncheon or Dinner Wine.
