AMATEUR THEATRICALS FOR THE COMING SEASON.—We understand that a meeting has been held for the purpose of carrying out the contemplated theatrical performances of the Petersfield Amateur Dramatic Corps, which proved to be so successful last year. The funds, with a liberality most commendable, are to be divided this year between the cities of Winchester and Chichester. We have also heard that Mr. Robertson, the author of the successful comedy so lately produced at the Prince of Wales’s Theatre, has been communicated with for permission to perform ‟Ours,” which permission, we have no doubt, if obtained, will be done justice to by the above named theatrical corps.
