HASLEMERE.—The anniversary of the Congregational Sabbath School was held on Sunday, March 31st, when two deeply-impressive sermons were preached by the Rev. H. Wilson, secretary to the Home Missionary Society and founder of the ragged school in Aberdeen. On the following day the children were rewarded, after which they partook of an ample repast of cake and tea. In the evening the usual public meeting was held, at which Henry Appleton, Esq., presided; from the report it appears there are 90 children, with 12 teachers. Interesting addresses were given by the Revs. W. Heal, of Elstead, and S. Duthie, of Petersfield. The services were well attended and the attendants deeply interested in them.
