In the County Court of Hampshire at Petersfield.

     WHEREAS a Petition of WILLIAM SMITH, formally of Dunhill, in the parish of Steep, in the county of Southampton, afterwards of the Tithing of Sheet, in the said county, and late of the parish of Froxfield, in the said county, and now of Westmark, in the said tithing of Sheet, and being now and all the time a Farmer and Hire Carter, an Insolvent Debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Hampshire, at Petersfield, and an Interim Order for Protection from Process having been given to the said William Smith, under the provisions of the Statutes in that case made and provided, the said William Smith is hereby required to appear at the next court to be holden at the Town Hall, at Petersfield aforesaid, on the 27th day of March next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon precisely, for his first examination touching his Debts, Estate, and Effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said statutes; and Notice is hereby given that the choice of Assignees is to take place at the time so appointed.

     All persons indebted to the said William Smith, or who have any of his Effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. Chas. John Mellersh, the clerk of the said County Court, at Petersfield, the Official Assignee acting in the matter of the said Petition.
