PETERSFIELD.

COURT OF BANKRUPTCY, London, Friday last.—Before Mr. Commissioner Goulburn.

IN RE COOKE.—This was the examination meeting in the case of T. Cooke, cattle salesman, of Petersfield. The debts were £1,200 ; assets of trifling amount. At the last meeting the case had been adjourned sine die, the accounts being unsatisfactory.

Mr. Bagley again opposed for creditors, and asked for another adjournment, in order to ascertain whether bankrupt had any reversionary interest in property settled on his wife.

Mr. Chidley, for the bankrupt, gave some explanation on this point, and his Honour, thinking the accounts the best the bankrupt could render, allowed him to pass.
