SIR ALFRED D. TICHBORNE, BART.—In a bankruptcy enquiry into the affairs of this gentleman, who is described as of Tichborne Park, near Alresford, his debts were said to be about £36,000, and include a saddler’s bill for £126 5s., which contains the following items :—“ August 2, ten suits of best hunting clothing, in Royal blue kersey, faced, and broad scarlet cloth, complete, £52 10s., and twenty sets of monograms, embroidered in scarlet, £10 10s.” There is also an eugraver’s bill of £104 12s., which includes £6 14s, for a cigar case with monograms. A shirt-maker’s bill of £124 11s. 6d. includes twelve pairs of blue and white silk drawers, £27; twenty-four pairs of blue and white silk half-hose, £10 4s.; twelve linen shirts, with cambric fronts, £12; eighteen linen shirts, with quilted fronts, £16 4s.; one linen shirt, with fine dress front, £2 2s.; six night shirts, £2 8s.; three fine cambric puff fronts, with collars, £2 11s.
