PETERSFIELD.
BANKRUPTCY OF SIR A. J. D. TICHBORNE.—The bankrupt was described as of Alresford, Hants. Monday was an adjourned meeting for examination and discharge. The total debts and liabilities are about £35,000. Several adjournments had taken place with a view to carrying out an arrangement for payment of creditors in full. Mr. Plews appeared for the assignees, and said that dividends amounting to 10s. 6d. in the £ had been paid to creditors, and it was anticipated that payment in full would soon be made. If the court thought useless expense might be incurred by again adjourning the case to a fixed day, it was proposed that an adjournment sine die should be taken without making any imputation upon the bankrupt. Mr. Carpenter, for the bankrupt, concurred, and his Honor directed an adjournment sine die with protection.
