BASTARDY CASE—An order of 2s. per week with £1 4s. 2d, was made on William Howell, an assistant draper, for the illegitimate child of Eliza Evans, of Petersfield. The defendant admitted by a letter, which bore the post mark "Cranbrook," but contained no address, that he was the father of the child.
