PETERSFIELD.]—The Board of Guardians of the Peterstield Union has deputed the two clergymen of this parish, the Rev. F. M. Cunningham, M.A., and the Rev. T. Sealey, M.A. also the two churchwardens and overseers, to make a general survey with the medical attendant of the district, James Whicher, Esq. under the new sanitary act. These gentlemen commenced their arduous duties in the early part of the present week, by going into every house indiscriminately, and thoroughly inspecting every part of the premises, in many of which there were discovered some very bad nuisances existing, which were ordered to be removed forthwith.
