BOUNDARY COMMISSION.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that Lt. Colonel Biddulph, Royal Artillery, and J. Horne Payne, Esquire, Barrister at Law, two of the Assistant Commissioners appointed by the Boundary Commissioners for England and Wales under the provisions of the Representation of the People Act, 1867, will attend at the Town Hall, at Petersfield, on Thursday, the 12th day of September, 1867, at 11 o’clock, for the purpose of inquiring into the Boundaries of the Borough of Petersfield, with the view to ascertain whether the Boundaries should be enlarged so as to include within the limits of the Borough all premises which ought, due regard being had to situation and other local circumstances, to be included therein for the purpose of conferring upon the occupiers thereof the Parliamentary Franchise for such Borough.
The Assistant Commissioners will be prepared to hear, at the time and place above-mentioned, those persons who are desirous of giving information to the Boundaries or other Local circumstances of the Borough.
Persons who mav be desirous of giving such information as aforesaid, and who have not yet furnished written statements to the Commissioners, are requested to forward by Post their Statements to the undersigned, at the office of the Commissioners, 6, Old Palace Yard, Westminster, not later than Thursday next, the fifth day of September.
