BURITON.

On Tuesday this pretty little village was alive with excitement, on the occasion of the Prince of Wales’ Marriage, the school room was very tastefully decorated with suitable designs and mottoes, under the direction of Mrs. Sumner, the children of the village had a treat of plum cake and wine, and a large number of persons were entertained at a dinner, given (as was the children’s treat) by the Rev. J. M. Sumner. A new band made its débût on the occasion, so that Buriton contributed its full quota to the general rejoicing which marked this auspicious day.
