PETERSFIELD.

CAUTION TO INNKEEPERS.—On Petersfield Heath Fair-day, a person calling himself Mr. Joseph Clark, of Andover (Hand-over), and a dealer in horses, after enjoying the good things at the Red Lion Inn, which mine host is so noted for getting up in prime twig, and being accommodated with a bed in the bargain, decamped the next morning sans ceremonie, leaving his reckoning unpaid. This choice customer was a stout athletic man, supposed to be an Irishman, and dressed with a broad brimmed hat, light coat, red waistcoat, and large smalls. It is to be hoped that this caution will prevent other innkeepers being so duped.
