PORTSMOUTH AND SHEET BRIDGE TURNPIKE ROAD.

     NOTICE is hereby given,—That the Trustees of the said Road, acting under an Act passed in the second year of the reign of King George the Fourth intituled, ‟An Act to continue the term, and alter and enlarge the powers, of two Acts of Parliament for Repairing the Road from Sheet Bridge to Portsmouth, and from Petersfield to the Alton Road near Ropley, in the County of Southampton,” propose, at a Meeting to be held after the expiration of one calendar month from the publication of this Notice, to Lessen and Reduce the Charge for Weighing, at the several Weighbridges on the said Road, from Sixpence to Fourpence per Ton.
