PETERSFIELD
CHURCH MISSIONARY SOCIETY.—On Sunday last two very excellent sermons were preached in the Parish Church, on behalf of the above society, by the Rev. W. Walsh, one of the association secretaries. His appeals were warmly responded to, the collections amounting to upwards of £15. A meeting for the same object was held on Monday evening at the Petersfield National School room, and on Tuesday evening at Buriton. The Rev. W. Walsh was present on both occasions as a deputation from the parent society. The Rev. J. M. Sumner presided.
