PETERSFIELD.
CHURCH PASTORAL AID SOCIETY—Sermons, on behalf of this Society, were preached on Sunday last, at Buriton and Petersfield, by the Rev. W. M. Mungeam, Incumbent of St Peter’s, Southwark; and on Monday evening a public meeting was held in the Petersfield National School-room, at which the rev. gentlemen attended as a deputation from the Parent Society. The Rev. J. M. Sumner presided. The meeting was addressed by several clergymen, and many interesting details were given as to the Society’s operations. Collections were made after the sermons and meeting.
