NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,—That GEORGE NUTCOMBE OXENHAM, Esquire, Barrister at Law, having been appointed to REVISE the LISTS of VOTERS in the Election of Knights of the Shire for the NORTHERN DIVISION of the COUNTY of HANTS, will make a Circuit of the said Division, and hold Courts for the purpose of Revising such Lists at the several times and places following:—
On SATURDAY, the 17th day of September, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Castle of Winchester, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the City of WINCHESTER, and within the Winchester Polling District of the said county, viz.—
Ashley. Avington, Bishopstoke, Chilcomb, Compton, Crawley, Easton, East Stratton, Headbourn Worthy, Hunton, Hursley, ltchen Abbas, Lainston, King’s Worthy, Little Somborne, Littleton, Martyr Worthy, Milland, Micheldever, Morestead, Otterbourne, Owslebury, Sparsholt, Stoke Charity, St. Bartholomew Hyde, St. John, St. Lawrence, St. Maurice, St. Faith, St. Mary Kalendar, St. Michael’s, St. Peter Colebrook, St. Peter Cheesehill, St. Swithin, St. Thomas with St. Clement, Twyford, Sombourne, Week, Winnal, and Wonston.
On MONDAY, the 19th day of September, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, at the Swan Inn, NEW ALRESFORD, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Alresford Polling District of the said county, viz.—
Bramdean, Beauworth, Bishop’s Sutton, Brown Candover, Bighton, Chilton Candover, Cheriton, Hinton Ampner Itchen Stoke, Kilmiston, New Alresford, Northington, Old Alresford, Ovington, Ropley, Swarraton, Titchborne, and West Tisted.
On TUESDAY, the 20th day of September, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, at the Guildhall, ANDOVER, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Borough of Andover, and within the Andover Polling District of the said county, viz—
Abbott’s Ann, Amport, Andover, Appleshaw, Barton Stacey, Bullington, Chilbolton, Foxcott, Fyfield, Goodworth Clatford, Grately, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Kimpton, Knight’s Enham, Leckford, Linkenholt, Longstock, Longparish. Monxton, Nether Wallop, Over Wallop, Penton Mewsey, Quarley, Shipton, South Tidworth, Stockbridge, Tangley, Thruxton, Upper Clatford, Vernham’s Dean, Weyhill or Penton Grafton, and Wherwell.
On WEDSESDAV, the 21st day of September, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the White Hart Hotel, WHITCURCH, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Whitchurch Polling District of the said county, viz.—
Ashe, Deane, Freefolk Manor, Hurstbourne Priors, Laverstoke, Litchfield, Overton, Steventon, St. Mary Bourne, Tufton, and Whitchurch.
On WEDNESDAY, the 21st day of September, at two o’clock in the afternoon, at the Swan Inn, KINGSCLERE, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Kingsclere Polling District of the said county viz.—
Ashmansworth, Baughurst, Burghclere, Coombe, Crux Easton, East Woodhay Ecchinswell, Faccombe, Hannington, Highclere, Kingsclere, Newtown, Sidmonton, Tadley, Woolverton, and Woodcott.
On THURSDAY, the 22d day of September, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Town Hall, BASINGSTOKE, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Basingstoke Polling District of the said county viz.—
Andwell, Basingstoke Town, Basing, Bradley, Bramley, Church Oakley, Cliddesden, Dummer, Eastrop, Ellisfield, Farleigh Wallop, Hartley Westpall, Herriard, Lasham, Mapledurwell, Monk Sherborne, Mortimer West End, Nately Scures, Newnham, North Waltham, Nutley, Pamber, Popham, Preston Candover, Sherborne St. John, Sherfield upon Loddon. On FRIDAY, the 23d day of September, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, at the George Inn, ODIHAM, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Odiham Polling District in the said county, viz.—
Aldershott, Bentley, Crondall, Cove, Dogmersfield, Elvetham, Eversley with Great and Little Bramshill, Farnborough, Greywell, Hartley Wintney, Hawley, Heckfield Long Sutton, Mattingley, Odiham, Rotherwick, South Warnhorough, Winchfield, and Yately.
On SATURDAY, the 24th of September, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Swan Inn, ALTON, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Alton Polling District of the said county, viz.—
Alton, Bentworth, Binsted, Coldrey, Chawton, Dockenfield, East Tisted, East Worldham, Empshott, Farringdon, Froyle, Hartley Mauditt, Hawkley, Headley, Holybourn, Kingsley, Medstead, Neatham, Newton Valence, Selborne, Shalden, Wield, and West Worldham.
On MONDAY, the 26th day of September, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Town Hall PETERSFIELD, for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Borough of Petersfield, and within the Petersfield Polling District of the said county, viz.—
Blendworth, Bramshott, Buriton, Catherington, Chalton, Clanfield, Colemore, Eastmeon, Froxfield, Greatham, Idsworth, Liss, Petersfield, Prior’s Dean, Privett, Sheet, and Steep.
On TUESDAY the 27th day of September, at twelve o’clock at noon, at the Crown Inn, BISHOP’S WALTHAM for revising the List of Voters for the following parishes and places within the Bishop’s Waltham Polling District of the said county, viz.—
Bishop’s Waltham, Corhampton, Droxford, Duriey, Exton, Hambledon, Meonstoke, Soberton, Upham, Warnford, and Westmeon.
And the List of Voters of all other parishes and places (if any) in the NORTHERN DIVISION of the said County, not included within any of the Districts before-mentioned, will be revised at the nearest Court.
