PETERSFIELD.
CRICKET.—On Monday last the return match was played in the Heath, between the Midhurst and Petersfield Club, when the weather was all that could be wished for. The wickets were pitched at 10 o’clock, and the toss being won by Midhurst, play commenced, the Rev. Mr. Richards and S. Stedman, first taking the wicket to the bowling of Etherington and Blackmore. Time not allowing the whole to be played out, Petersfield claimed the match upon the first innings. The following is the score :—
