On Wednesday a match of Cricket was played on the Alresford Cricket Ground between the Alresford and Petersfield Clubs. At the end of the days play the match terminated in favour of the Petersfield Club. The score stood thus: Peterefsield, 1st innings,—109; 2nd 44; leaving 5 wickets to go down. Alresford 1st Innings,—53.

The third match of the season, came off on Wednesday. The club eleven mustered at the Red Lion Hotel at eight a.m., and started for Alresford, returning at 10 p.m.
