CRICKET.

     PETERSFIELD v. LIPHOOK.—A match was played on Petersfield Heath on Monday last between the Petersfield and Liphook Clubs. The first innings terminated in favour of Petersfield by 17 runs, and they had made themselves quite safe for the second innings when the stumps were drawn, having seven wickets to go down and only 83 runs to get. Mr. Leigh, the captain of the Cambridge Club, played on the Liphook side, and displayed some first rate bowling.
