PETERSFIELD.

CRICKET.Petersfield v. Chiddingfold.—The return match between these clubs took place on Monday last, at Chiddingfold, when some excellent play was shown. The fielding on both sides was good, particularly that of Petersfield, and the long-stopping of Mr. Harry Sumner (son of our worthy rector) was the admiration of everyone. For several years past these clubs have engaged in friendly contests, and on every previous occasion (except one) the Chiddingfold have been victors, but on this occasion Petersfield won the laurels, as will be seen by the score below. The Petersfield Club have thus won eight matches out of ten they have played this year.
