In the County Court of' Hampshire, at Petersfield.

     WHEREAS a Petition of JAMES UPFIELD, formerly of Wisborough Green, in the County of Sussex, Licensed Victualler, afterwards of Liss, in the County of Southampton, Licensed Victualler & Butcher, and now of Sheet, near Petersfield, in the said County, Butcher, an Insolvent Debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Hampshire, at the Town Hall in Petersfield, and an Interim Order for protection from Process having been given to the said James Upfield under the provisions of the statutes in that case made and provided, the said James Upfield is hereby required to appear at the next Court, to be holden at the Town hall, in Petersfield aforesaid, on the 16th day of December next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon precisely for his first examination touching his debts, estate, and effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said statutes: and notice is hereby given that the choice of assignees is to take place at the time so appointed. 

     All persons indebted to the said James Upfield, or who have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. Charles John Mellersh, the Clerk of the said County Court, at Petersfield, the Official Assignee acting in the matter of the said petition.
