"That from and after a time to be fixed, the Payment of Church Rates shall cease and determine; and that in lieu thereof his Majesty be empowered to grant out of the proceeds of the Land Tax a sum not exceeding 250,000l., to be applied to the Repairs of Parish Churches and Parochial Chapels."
