PETERSFIELD.]—DREADFUL ACCIDENT.—We regret to have to record again this week another dreadful accident which took place on Monday, the 21st instant, to a poor ‟non compos mentis” man, in the employ of Mr. William Mellersh, of Scotland’s Farm, Hawkley, near Petersfield, who was run over accidentally by his employer’s waggon, which was loaded with ashes, and so severely injured that death ensued in a very short space of time, before medical aid could be procured. The deceased, James Croucher, was a single man, and about forty years of age.
