ELECTION PETITIONS.
In the list of petitions are preferred to the House of Commons, complaining of undue returns, and pursuant to order, are :—
A petition from Hylton Jolliffe, John Meeres, and Thomas Chitty, against the return of John George Shaw Lefevre for the borough of Petersfield, on the ground that certain individuals, not Julie qualified, we are registered in the list of voters, and did vote for the said George Shaw Lefevre, and that petitioner, Hylton Jolliffe, had a majority of legal votes, and ought to have been returned.
