ELECTION PETITIONS.

     Mr Ley, the clerk, then read out the names of the following places, from which petitions were presented, complaining of undue returns of Members which had been made from those places—namely, the borough of Ipswich, the city of Canterbury, the county of Longford, the borough of Belfast, the borough of Petersfield, the borough of Bridgnorth, the borough of Sligo, the city of Bristol, the borough of Honiton, and the borough of Marylebone.

     On the motion of Lord J. RUSSELL, the consideration of all these petitions was deferred until the 12th of December.
