Farnham & Petersfield Turnpike Road.

     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN,—That the Trustees acting under an Act passed in the 7th year of the reign of his late Majesty King George the Fourth, intituled “An Act for making and maintaining a Turnpike Road from a place called Coxbridge, near Farnham, in the county of Surrey, to Ramshill, near Petersfield, in the county of Southampton,” will meet at the Spread Eagle, Liss, in the said county of Southampton, on the 26th day of April next, at one o’clock in the afternoon, in order to consult about ERECTING a TOLL GATE or BAR, or TOLL GATES or BARS, across or at the side of the said Turnpike Road, at some suitable spot between Greatham Lane End, in the parish of Greatham, and the Bell Public-house, in the parish of Liss, both in the said county of Southampton; and also to consult to DISCONTINUING or REMOVING the TOLL GATE, called Greetham Gate, now erected across the said Road, at or near Greetham Lane End, in the parish of Greetham, in the said county of Southampton.
