FIRE.—A fire broke out in a cottage at Wardley Marsh, in the parish of Iping, on Monday last. It is supposed to have originated in a spark falling on the thatch. Assistance being promptly rendered, and a good supply of water being at hand, the fire was got under before it had done any very extensive mischief. The property was insured in the Phœnix office.
