MR. G. ETHERINGTON has received instructions to SELL by AUCTION, on Monday the 20th of June, 1859, at the Seven Stars Inn, Stroud Common, in convenient lots,——82 Spiney OAK TREES, 92 ASH, 6 large BEECH, quantity of Ash Poles, ditto of Stackwood, ditto of Faggots. The Ash is marked from No. 1 to 6; the Oak from No. 1 to 8; the Beech in two lots; about thirty Ash Poles; eight Stacks Wood; and 800 Faggots, in suitable lots. Four of the Ash are lying at Bordean, 24 in Ridge Row, 28 in Hanger Field, and the remainder in Lower Styres Coppice, as also part of the Oak and Beech; and the remainder of the Oak in Upper Styres Coppice, adjoining.—May be viewed on application to John Blackman, the woodman, at Stapleash Farm House; and particulars, in printed forms, may be had of the Auctioneer, Dragon-street, Petersfield.
The sale to commence at four o’clock.
As the Timber is sold for cash, a discount of 2½ per cent. will be allowed.
