Important Sale of FREEHOLD LAND, being the allotments set out for the purpose of paying the expenses of the Liss Inclosure, in the parish of LISS, and County of Southampton.

MESSRS. F. & A. MELLERSH will Sell by Auction, at the the Spread Eagle Inn, Liss, on Monday September 7th, 1857, at 12 o’clock, in 46 lots, about 113 acres of highly improvable FREEHOLD LAND, tithe free, and land tax free, most eligibly situate in the several localities known as Liss Green, Lower Common, South Common, and Waste Lands near the Jolly Drovers and Rake, all in the parish of Liss.

The Auctioneers with much confidence have the pleasure of submitting the above very desirable properties to the public for their competition. The lots generally are most advantageously situate—they either possess frontages, or are close to the London and Portsmouth, or the Petersfield and Farnham Turnpike Roads, or to some of the other principal thoroughfares of the neighbourhood, and the Liss Station, on the London and Portsmouth Railway, which it is expected will be shortly opened for traffic, will be close at hand.

The lots will be set out on the ground, and printed particulars with plans and conditions may be obtained of R. W. Attree, Esq., Valuer, Liss, Petersfield; the Red Lion Hotel, Petersfield; the Spread Eagle, Liss; of Messrs. Dunn and Co., Solicitors, Alresford; Edwin Albery, Esq., Solicitor, Midhurst; and of Messrs. F. and A. Mellersh, Auctioneers, Valuers and Estate Agents, Godalming and Guildford.
