Important sale of FREEHOLD LAND, being the allotments set out for the purposes of paying the expenses of the Rogate Inclosure, in the parish of ROGATE, and county Sussex.

MESSRS. F. & A. MELLERSH will Sell by Auction, in twenty-one lots, at the White Horse Inn, Rogate, on FRIDAY, June the 19th, 1857, at two o’clock, about 150 acres of very improvable FREEHOLD LAND, Tithe and Land Tax free.

It is with much confidence that the Auctioneers introduce to the public notice the above most desirable Properties. They are very eligibly situate, being close to the London and Portsmouth turnpike road. The Liphook and Liss stations on the Portsmouth Railway (now constructing) will not be more than 3 miles distant, and the Inclosure roads (under formation) will open easy communication with the neighbouring towns of Petersfield, Midhurst, Haslemere, Petworth, &c. The staple of the land is of superior quality, and might be profitably brought into cultivation as corn land, or laid down as meadow, and a portion probably might be irrigated by the streams which flow through several of the lots.

The lots will be set out on the ground, and printed particulars with plans and conditions of sale may be obtained of E. W.. Attree, Esq., Valuer, Liss, Petersfield; the Red Lion Hotel, Petersfield; the White Horse Inn, Rogate; of Messrs. Mellersh and Sons, Solicitors, Godalming; and of Messrs. F. & A. Mellersh, Auctioneers, Valuers and Estate Agents, Godalming and Guildford.
