     MR. G. ETHERINGTON has received instructions from Mr. John Colebrooke, to SELL by AUCTION, on Thursday the 9th of October, 1862,—The whole of the 

Live and Dead Farming Stock, 

(the Farm being let); consisting of eight good bred Dairy Cows, two active powerful Cart Horses, four good Shuts, four HAY RICKS, large Rick Cloth, with ropes, poles, and trussels, complete; capital iron-arm waggon with double shafts, two dung carts, light spring cart, donkey cart and harness, capital stone roller, light wood ditto, horse rake, two-wheel land presser, winnowing clover and turnip seed machines, scarifier with three sets of different tines, two Gardner’s turnip cutters and one slicer, ladders of various lengths, weighing box for live stock, corn bushel, and other measures, drag rakes, prongs, and forks; sheep troughs and cages, hurdles and wattles, quantity of sacks (nearly new), set of good wire barn ridders, corn bin, drags, harrows, ploughs, trace, thill, plough, and light cart harness; saddles, bridle and pad, wheeler’s timber, and many other articles. 

     Also, a complete Set of SHOP FIXTURES for the Grocery Trade; consisting of mahogany counter filled with large drawers, deal counter, large nest of capital drawers, good tea and coffee canisters, painted stone tobacco and snuff jars, weights and scales of various sizes, capital flour and corn weighing machine, considerable quantity of paper, paper bags, and tea papers; earthenware, milk pans, and dairy utensils; good butter tumblers, mangle, large kneading trough, brewing utensils, Bath chair, child’s chair, and part of the Household Furniture.

     The whole will be enumerated in catalogues, to be had at the principal Inns, place of sale, and of Mr. G. Etherington, auctioneer and general valuer, Dragon-street, Petersfield.
