Pursuant to an Order of the High Court of Chancery, made in Cause of Grant v. Bridger, and with the approbation of the Vice-Chancellor Wood, the Judge to whose Court the said Cause is attached.
MESSRS. C. B. SMITH and DAVIES, the persons appointed by the said Judge, will SELL by AUCTION, in several Lots, as to part thereof, at the Red Lion Hotel, Petersfield, on Tuesday the 13th day of September, 1864; and as to the remaining part thereof, at the Anchor Hotel, Chichester, on Wednesday the 14th day of the same month, at two o’clock in the afternoon of each day,—Various

in the county of Sussex (late the property of William Milton Bridger, Esquire, Deceased), as follows, viz.:—
At the Red Lion Hotel, Petersfield, on the said 13th day of September, 1864, in the following Lots:—
— Lot 1 A FREEHOLD FARM, called Dumpford Park Farm, in the parishes of Trotton, Elsted, and Harting, consisting of 291 Acres.
—Lot 2 A FARM, called ‟Tye Oak and Woodhouse” in the parishes of Harting and Elsted; containing about 266 Acres, of which about 35 Acres are Long Leasehold, and the remaining part is Freehold.
—Lot 3 A FREEHOLD COTTAGE, with Meadow adding, and PLANTATION; containing together 8a. 1 r. 16p. at Redford, in the parish of Woolbeding, in part occupied by Henry Standing.

—Lot 5 A FREEHOLD PLANTATION, containing 2a. 3r. 12p. at Keyshott, near Midhurst.
—Lot 6 A COPYHOLD COTTAGE, GARDEN, and MEADOW, at Leggatt Hill, in the parish of Lodsworth; containing 6a. 0r. 10p. in the occupation of Chas. Cresswell.
—Lot 7 A COPYHOLD FARM, known as ‟Lickfold,” in the parish of Lodsworth; containing 85a. 2r. 28p. in the occupation of Mr. John Cresswell.
—Lot 8 A COTTAGE and GARDEN, at White’s Green, in the parish of Lurgashall, in the occupation of William Boxall.
—Lot 9 A small COPYHOLD FARM, known as ‟Old Jane’s Farm,” near River, in the parish of Tillington; containing 14a. 2r. 27p. in the occupation of the late Jas. Bridger’s Representatives.
And at the Anchor Hotel, Chichester, on the said 14th day of September, 1864, in the following Lots:—
