PETERSFIELD.] — COUNTY COURT.— At this Court, held in the Town Hall, Petersfield, on Saturday, the 16th instant, the first case under the new Bankruptcy Act, was that of George Johnson, marine store dealer, of this town, whose liabilities amounted to nearly £200, between thirty creditors, the two principal ones being Messrs. Green, of Thames-street, London, and Messrs. Filmer and Mason, ironmongers, &c., Guildford; assets, none, and, as no creditor put in an appearance, the bankrupt, under protection, was ordered to make his second appearance at this Court on Saturday, the 18th of January, 1862, when the Judge will make his final order, and the bankrupt will tell his creditors that his estate will realise nil for them.
