     Business recommenced on Tuesday morning, before F. R. Thresher, Esq., Chairman, L. Dampier, Esq., Hans Sloane Stanley, Esq., H. J. Mulcock, Esq., and Captain Nevill. 

     James Blythe, Esq., of Bonchurch House (I. W.), qualified as a Magistrate. 

     There were no appeals. For the despatch of business a second Court was opened, in which Mr. Dampier presided.

Seven Years’ Transportation.
John Frampton, for stealing two sheets and other articles at Fordingbridge, the property of Samuel Croft
John Gill, alias John Megrath, for house-breaking at Yately
William Gay, for breaking into the house of James Johnson, at Shorwell, and stealing therefrom divers articles
John Lacey, for having feloniously incited one John Chiverton steal 1321b. of fat, the property of his master, James Woodford, of Calbourne
     Frederick Wolfe, for stealing one shilling and sixpence at Newchurch, having been twice previously convicted.

One Years’ Imprisonment.
     James Ilsley, convicted on three indictments for passing counterfeit coin at Elvetham and Hartley Wintney.

Ten Months’ Imprisonment.
     William Jones for an assault at Alverstoke.

Eight Months’ Imprisonment.
Wm. Moth,.for stealing a pair of boots at Carisbrook;
     Edward Andrews, for stealing 8lbs. of feathers.

Six Months’ Imprisonment.
Elias Hibbs, for stealing a gelding at Christchurch, the property of G. V. Jackson;
John Godwin, for stealing a pair of stockings, the property of the Guardians of the New Forest Union
Ann Warner, for stealing wearing apparel at Fordingbridge
     James Mills, for stealing a gun at Mitcheldcver.

Four Months’ Imprisonment.
Henry Spreadbury, for stealing money from a dwelling-house at Compton
Henry Parsons, for stealing 5lb. of copper at Christchurch, the property of B. Tucker
Thomas Wilkins and Henry Harris, for stealing, and George Elliot for receiving, two ducks, the property of Thomas Courtney, of Mitcheldever
James Phillips, for stealing a bushel of potatoes, at Christchurch
George Jeffery, for stealing meat at Basingstoke, the property of William Wheatley
     Jacob Ayres, for stealing a round frock at Whitchurch.

Three Months’ Imprisonment.
Stephen Ward, for stealing a sovereign at Ropley, the property of Eli Moore
